Bark Bark Bark

Isaac has discovered that barking is a useful skill to have, for things other than food or hoses.

On this evenings walk to young fellows came scooting out between Judy’s house and Jacks house. Isaac spotted them and gave a few good barks. They stopped and tried to decide whether they should continue forward motion or retreat to the Day’s backyard.

Then in front of Keith’s house on the other side of the block we were ambushed by a cotton ball. The thing struck like a cobra and bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark while Isaac just stared at it wondering if maybe he hadn’t seen the attacking dragon this dog sensed was near. I’ll have to admit I laughed when the thing hit the end of it’s tie-out. I think it is a Be-shaun (it’s so gay I refuse to look up how to spell it). I feel bad that keith ends up having to walk it!

We ran into the same kids from Judy/Jack episode on the other side of the block. This time it was the Chocolate Lab on Downing who was barking at the no good kids. They cleared the sidewalk for the Isaac and me and Isaac walked through as if they weren’t there. I think we need to declare martiall law in Elburn, they’re probably the pricks that smashed our pumpkins.
